"Colleen was one of my youngest nieces for quite some time. And a very special little girl in my heart. She rarely let me out of her sight. I remember when she used to throw her baby bottles at my head in the mornings to wake me. Now she will be throwing a bouquet of flowers. WOW! Stephen you're a great guy! Colleen, you will always be that special little girl to me. Congradulations! Love you tons! "

"I'm so happy that you found someone that you can share your life with Steve. I've never wanted anything but the fairytale for you because I know you deserve it. You've been such a great friend and I'm glad that you've found Colleen. I think she rules! Kisses Katie"

"I've been trying to find the right words to express what is in my heart for you two. I came across the following written by Kate Novack. I hope you don't mind that it's a little long and that I made a couple of edits, but it comes as close as possible to saying what I feel. May you be blessed with all things good. May your joys, like the stars at night, be too numerous to count. May your victories be more abundant than all the grains of sand on all the beaches, on all the oceans in all the world. May lack and struggle be always absent from your lives, and may beauty, order, and abundance be your constant companions. May every path you choose lead to that which is pure and good and lovely. May every doubt and fear be replaced by a deep abiding trust as you behold evidence of a Higher Power all around you. And when there is only darkness and the storms of life are closing in, may the light at the core of your beings illuminate the world. May you always be aware you are loved beyond measure and may you be willing to love unconditionally in return. May you always feel protected and cradled in the arms of God, like the cherished children you are. And when you are tempted to judge one another, may you be reminded you are ONE. And when you are tempted to hold back, may you remember that love flows best when it flows freely, and it is in giving that you will receive the greatest gift. May you always have music and laughter and may a rainbow follow every storm. May gladness wash away every disappointment, joy every sorrow, and love ease every pain. May every wound bring wisdom and every trial bring triumph. And with each passing day, may you live more abundantly than the day before. May you be blessed, and may others be blessed by you. This is my heartfelt wish for you.... May You Be Blessed! Love, Mom"

"It is all about first having God in your lives... and then laughter... and well have fun!!! The wedding is just a day, the marriage is a lifetime! Be do things together, but also give each other space. It is OK not like all of the friends he or she has... just smile and be polite. We still to this day say please and thank you... Oh yea and no matter what making each other laugh is the best of all! As far as the wedding day--only the two of you will know if something doesn't come off just right... remember laugh at the silly stuff cause it will be the fun you remember... So wish we could be there!!! "
